About Medi-Mation
Medi-Mation is a specialist medical animation and illustration studio creating 3D animations and illustrations.We produce a diverse range of high-end, high-impact work and this is our key differentiator. The quality of our work and clients speak for themselves.
The studio was started in 2005 by Rajeev Doshi and now lists an impressively broad client base covering not only the UK but also the USA and Canada, South Africa, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, France, Holland and Dubai. As such, our international client base encompasses about half of the work we do.
Our philosophy
Just because content is created in 3D does not make the product memorable or exciting.Like a film, every animation production needs an exceptional start, informative middle and satisfying denouement.
Like a photo, we understand that each illustration tells a story and its the fine detail from the framing, composition, color and texture that defines its success.

Why choose us?
The company's founder and Creative Director is a rarity in the field - an animator with a post-doctoral, biomedical background having completed a Ph.D. in Cancer Gene Therapy before retraining as a 3D animator. Rajeev subsequently set-up and grew the medical visualisation division for a global medical agency before leaving to start Medi-Mation. His background allows him to understand the minutiae of the science while also providing a perfect bridge between clients and the in-house animation team making the process of working with and visualizing a client's needs far more streamlined and accurate than might otherwise be the case.To read a more in-depth interview with the founder you can click here.
What can we do for you?
For animations, we can take on the process from story outline, storyboarding, scripting, pre-visualization, score / sound FX creation, voice-over recording, post-production and editing.For illustrations, you can provide us reference or just tell us what you are looking for and let us do the research and concept work.
